I’ve been on a long journey of self-knowledge and healing and would love to share with you what I’ve discovered because, believe me, it’s worth it.
My passions
In my offerings to you, I’ve blended together the two topics that have fascinated me since my teens: the human psyche and the spiritual world. I wanted to understand why we repeat negative patterns and how we can change.
Teaching & counselling skills
I love teaching and training. It’s taken me a while to realise that I’ve been teaching or training in every role in my professional career; so far that’s included IT, adult literacy, state benefits, mental health and aerobics!
I’m good at breaking topics down, so you can pick information up step by step and I’m a firm believer in making learning useful. Supporting people as they grapple with unfamiliar ideas is what I thrive on, so you can expect patience and empathy from me as you learn.
My own experiences
Over the years, I’ve attended a variety of workshops on traditional and complementary therapies, and spiritual topics.
In my 30s, I started to train in counselling, then psychotherapy, with a view to changing career and quickly realised how true the adage “Physician heal thyself” was.
I delved into my own patterns, relationship and health issues, and I gained experience, and qualifications, in a range of tools and techniques. (See the list below). I had incredible results, and some uncomfortable revelations, but I’m now more compassionate towards myself and others. I also navigate the world in an intuitive way, using my dreams, astrology and the tarot to guide me.
